Expression Definition
song (n) a short piece of music with words that are sung
e.g. I need to keep practicing my song
boss (n) the person whose job is to tell other workers what to do
e.g. She keeps bothering her boss.
blame (v) to say or think that a person or thing is responsible for something bad that has happened
e.g. Why do you keep blaming him? 
cough (v) to force air through your throat with a short, loud noise often because you are sick
e.g. He keeps coughing because he has the flu. 
complain (v) to say or write that you are unhappy, sick, uncomfortable, etc., or that you do not like something
e.g. Why do they keep complaining about the weather? 
sentence (n) a group of words that expresses a statement, question, command, or wish
e.g. I keep writing my sentences down to practice them. 
until (pre) up to (a particular time) — used to indicate the time when a particular situation, activity, or period ends
e.g. She is going to keep singing until her concert starts. 
pray (v) to speak to God especially in order to give thanks or to ask for something
e.g. I will keep praying for him to feel better. 
trick (v) an action that is meant to deceive someone
e.g. She keeps tricking her mom. 
last night (n) (often used adverbially) the evening or night immediately before the present.
e.g. I kept falling asleep on the phone last night while talking to you.
