Vocabulary/ Expressions

Expression Definition
Fix (v) to make (something) whole or able to work properly again : to repair (something)
Follow (v) to go or come after or behind (someone or something)
Hold (v) to have or keep (something) in your hand, arms, etc.
Smoke (v) to suck the smoke from a cigarette, cigar, pipe, etc., into your mouth and lungs and then exhale it
Finish (v) to reach the end of (something) : to stop doing (something) because it is completed
Come back (v) to return to a particular place or person
Sing (v) to use your voice to make musical sounds in the form of a song or tune
Wait (v) to stay in a place until an expected event happens, until someone arrives, until it is your turn to do something, etc.
